A Guide for Using the BMA Library: Overview

Visiting the Library

The E. Kirkbride Art Research Library in the Baltimore Museum of Art is open to the public Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Library is non-circulating. What this means is that you are welcome to use our materials on site, but in order to make the best use of your time, you should plan ahead and submit requests for the resources you are planning to consult before your visit by emailing library staff at bmalibrary@artbma.org. It is recommended to request a date two weeks ahead of your desired appointment date. Researchers will be required to complete an appointment registration form to confirm their appointment.
